Notes Manuscript. Colophon dated Rabīʻ II, 1055 [1645]. Original foliation 1-101 (extending to folio 97). Laid European paper (watermark: 3 crescents). Red ink used for ruled borders, overlining, some headings and captions to miniatures. Clear Egyptian or Syrian hand. Contains 95 miniatures. Catchwords included on the majority of leaves; some vocalization. Quires numbered. Leaves and quires loose, within brown leather binding (flap missing) having on front and back covers onlaid embossed medallion, centred vertically between two fleurons, now considerably worn. Folios 1, 21, 56 and 58 supplied later. Armorial bookplate in memoriam Peter Whiteford Redpath and Jocelyn Clifford Redpath affixed to rear pastedown; presented to the Redpath Library by John R. Redpath. Author's name given as Bīdpā (f.1a). Incipit: ... الحمد لله المنعم بفضله و نعمته على كافة خلقه اجمعين.
