Notes
This book on Islamic jurisprudence is based on the teachings of Imam al-Shafi'i. The text discusses the topics addressed by Imam Ibn Hajar al-Haytami in response to different questions and inquiries. Imam Ibn Hajar's extensive knowledge attracted people from all directions who sought his fatwas, which he readily provided. Sheikh Abdul Qadir Ahmed, a loyal student of his, requested Ibn Ali al-Fakihi al-Makki to collect and follow the important teachings of their teacher. He dedicated a significant amount of time to collecting these teachings, in order to gain unique benefits. Eventually, he documented them in a diwan with the intention of spreading their benefits to all regions and eras. | Notes: On the marjin: Decisions by Aḥmad ibn Muḥammad al-Ramlī, compiled and arranged by his son Muḥammad. | more | less
