Notes
Written in black ink in a clear regular East Syriac hand, pointed, rubrics in dull red, 25 lines per page., A colophon in Syriac on p. 60 states that the ms. was finished on 21 May 1848 in Mosul by Yosip Audo, Patriarch of Babel., Bound probably in Mosul in quarter leather and pebble-grained cloth., The author's name does not appear. The probable attribution to Patriarch Mīkhāʼīl Jarwah is inferred from the existence of an Arabic work by him with this title in other Karshuni mss. (see Graf)., In Karshuni Arabic (Arabic in Syriac script)., References: G. Graf, Geschichte der christlichen arabischen Litteratur, iv. 63
