Copy of a 14th-century historical and geographical work whose title translated into English is Heart's bliss. An introduction on the author's sources (f. 3r-4v), heavenly bodies, longitude, and latitude is followed by chapters on the division of creation into minerals, plants, and animals; on man; on towns, kingdoms, and valleys in Iran; and on the wonders of the world. Frequent contemporary or near-contemporary marginal notes relate the content of the text to the reader's knowledge of the Deccan region of India.
