| Notes | I never saw him again after I went to Yalova. His disease was spread from mouth to mouth. In the first days, I thought it was a temporary illness that was not serious. One day they said that the disease was very serious and incurable; I couldn't believe it. I even questioned the person who said it. I couldn't cure him of such a disease. He returned to Ankara from his trip to Adana at the beginning of May. I ran to your future. I saw it while getting off the train. That's when I encountered the frightening truth. Ataturk was really sick. |
