Short shot of a manuscript, content: The "Dīwān" of Qāsimī, also called Qāsim-i Anwār, born 757 [h.q.] [1356] in Tabrīz, died 837 [h.q.] [1433 or 1434] in a village near Neyšābūr. The Ġazelen of Qāsimī begin on Fol. 2, the beginning of which is missing. The Ġazelen are arranged according to the alphabet of rhymes and extend up to fol. 165. There is a small defect after fol. 165, the end of the letter "ya'" is missing, contents: fol. 165b-169: "Terčīʿ", with a missing beginning. Fol. 169b-181: Qaṣīds, Qiṭʿas and quatrains. Fol. 181-185: A Maṯnawī. Fol. 185b-204: Longer Maṯnawī "Anīs al-ʿārifīn" (see Fol. 191 1.8) with preface in prose, content: On Fol. 205 the full name of the poet and his genealogy back to Ḫalīfen ʿAlī are given; his name is Muʿīn al-Dīn Abū l-Qāsim ʿAlī Ibn-Nāṣir Hārūn al-Qaṣīm etc. al-Ḥussaini al-Tabrīzī, Dated manuscript: Quite old, undated, old signature: Quatremère 180, BSB provenance: Étienne Quatremère (1782-1857)
