Short copy of a manuscript, content: Introduction to the story of Tīmūr entitled "Ẓafarnāma" by Šaraf-ad-Dīn ʿAlī Yazdī. This introduction constitutes a work in itself and is therefore not found in all manuscripts of the "Ẓafarnāma". It contains the history of the first Mongols, Genghis Han and those of his descendants who ruled in Iran, Kipchak and Transoxania. The text is mixed with many poems, script: Nastaʿlīq, old signature: Quatremère 193, BSB provenance: Étienne Quatremère (1782-1857)
