Short photo of a manuscript, content: Commentary on the Koran by Ḥusain Wāʿiẓ Kāšifī. According to the preface, written in 897 [h.q.] [1491 or 1492] in 4 volumes and dedicated to the Amīr Mīr ʿAlī Šīr. The manuscript contains the four volumes that make up the work, completely in two; the second begins on Fol. 318 with Surah XVIII. Both volumes are written by the same hand; after the signature of Ġīyāṯ from Isfahan in the city of Ardestan (not far from Isfahan) in the year 928 [h.q.] [1521 or 1522]. The text of the Koran is written in red.
