Short shot of a manuscript, BSB provenance: Purchased from Oskar Rescher (1883-1972), Istanbul, (entry by Emil Gratzl), font: Nestâ'lik, equipment: niche-shaped Unvan with floral decoration in green and pink on a gold background and blue and red decorative bars. 1b–2a: Black and gold double borders, otherwise red double borders. Headings, keywords, references to sources, names and numbers in red, text quotations overlined in red. - Custodians. - Ivory-colored, slightly stained, smoothed paper with watermarks (lines, eagle and G F A), cover: red-brown leather cover with flap, wide and two narrow golden borders and four golden dots each. Spine torn, edges and corners bumped, contents: Determination of the beginning of the months of Ramazan (pages 2a-6a), Şevval (pages 6a-9a) and Zilhicce (pages 9a-10a) due to the occurrence of the respective new moon phase. Each of these three sections initially contains a Turkish excursus on the topic mentioned. Then there are quotations from the well-known Hanefi fiqh works written in Arabic (Baḥr ar-riaʿiq, Maǧmaʿ al-anhur, Bazzāzīya, Durar wa-ġurar, Hidāya, Durr al-muḫtār, Tanwīr al-abṣar and others). - Sheet 4a some interlinear glosses. On the R. there are often further quotations from Arabic literature
