Short copy of a manuscript, content: History of Šāh Ǧahānʹ [Šāh Ǧahān-nāma] by ʿAbd-al-Ḥamīd Lāhaurī, in the preface entitled "Padišāh-nāma" and dedicated to Šāh Ğahān. The manuscript contains only the first volume of the entire work, which begins with the accession of Šāh Ğahān to the throne in 1037 [h.q.] [1627] and covers the first 10 years of his reign. With a preface about the ancestors of Šāh Ğahān and a biographical-literary-historical appendix (fol. 309 et seq.). Written in the XI. Century [h.q.] [between 1591 and 1688] in the 22nd year of the reign (Aurangzībs?) [= around 1680], script: Taʿlīq, old signature: Quatremère 100, BSB provenance: Étienne Quatremère (1782-1857)
