Short shot of a manuscript, collective manuscript, content: Slide 1-271b: Nafāyis al-maʾāṯir, content: Slide 272-289b: History of Gujarāt, content: Slide 290-335: History of Bābur, Humāyūn and Akbar, content: Dated manuscript: At the end of the manuscript there is the chronogram "tammat ʿala yadaini" = 989, in which year the work was completed. The manuscript says 979, which is impossible because later dates appear in the course of the work. Sprenger also gives 979 in his handwriting and points out the improbability of this date. The following signature states that part of this book was written by Niẓām Ibn-Aḥmed of Delhi in the year 980 (sic) in the city of Ajmer, equipment: cotton paper, old signature: Quatremère 160, BSB provenance: Étienne Quatremère (1782-1857)
