Notes	Short copy of a manuscript, content: life of Muhammed, divided into a "mukaddime" [introduction] about the attributes of God, 4 sections "rukn", of which I about the prophets before Muhammed and II-IV about Muhammed, and a "hatime" [conclusion] about the miracles of the prophet. This is the translation of the Persian work "Maʿāriǧ an-nubūwa" by Muʿîneddîn El-hâcc Muhammed Alfarâhî, called Miskîn. The translator is Sheikh Muhammed İbn-i Muhammed, called Altı Parmak, The above title is in the preface fol. 3b 1. 7; At the end of Section I the same reads "Delail ül-Muhammediye ve esrar ül-Muhammediye", The translation of Section III only extends to the middle of this section in the Persian original and Section IV (from the flight to the death of the Prophet) is completely missing. The Mukaddime is followed by Section I Fol. 39, II Fol. 87b, III Fol. 121b and the Hatime Fol. 155, the partial name I-III was changed to II-IV by another hand at the beginning of the relevant sections in order to hide the defect; At the end of sections I and II, however, the correct thing remains, font: The copy, in small font, was completed in Mecca in 1143 [h.q.] [1730 or 1731], old signature: Quatremère 138, BSB provenance: Étienne Quatremère (1782-1857)
