Short copy of a manuscript, Tārīḫ-i Maṭlaʿ as-saʿdain, content: History of Tīmūr and his descendants up to 875 [h.q.] [1470 or 1471] in 2 volumes, written by ʿAbd-ar-Razzāq Samarqandī, born in Herat 816 [h.q.] [1413 or 1414], died 887 [h.q.] [1482 or 1483], Incomplete: The manuscript begins with Abū Saʿīd, the son of Öldscheitü, and then moves on to the history of Timūr, which is continued until his death in 807 [h.q.] [1404 or 1405]. It therefore only contains the first volume of the entire work. The second, which contains the history of Tîmūr's descendants up to the year 875 [h.q.] [1470 or 1471], is missing. The Code has a preface, which can be found in Cod.pers. 246 is not located, but it is not completely present because there is a defect after the first page (fol. 1b), so that the beginning of the actual story is also missing, Cover: Cover painted, Writing: Well written in Nastaʿlīq, Old signature: Quatremère 104, BSB provenance: Étienne Quatremère (1782-1857), Literature: Cf.
