Title from title page of opening mujallad., Shelfmark: Madison, University of Wisconsin, MS 577, Origin: As appears in the editor's colophon at the conclusion of the third mujallad (v.2 p.133), transcription commenced at the beginning of Rajab 1349 (November 1930) and completed mid-Shawwāl 1349 (4 March 1931). A colophon in the section list errata correction and discrepancies with other manuscripts and imprints indicates that the collation was completed at the beginning of Dhū al-Qaʻdah 1349 (March 1931) in Aligarh. The editor's preface at the opening of the first volume (p.21) is dated 8 Shaʻbān 1354 (5 November 1935) in Cairo., A gift of the editor and his son, Muhammad Umar Memon (1939-2018), professor emeritus of Urdu Literature and Arabic Studies at the University of Wisconsin-Madison., In Arabic.
