In this file: photocopies of documents in Arabic related to the Supreme Islamic Sharia Council. Among these documents are: correspondence with the Supreme Islamic Council regarding the repair of mosques between the years 1940-1941, documents related to the relinquishment of rights to waqf land in Jaffa in 1942, documents related to permission from the Supreme Islamic Sharia Council to replace warehouses established on the land of the Islamic cemetery in Jaffa in 1937, and correspondence between the Waqf Commissioner of the Northern District in Acre and the General Endowments Administration in Jerusalem regarding the revenues of the agent of Tiberias in 1947. In addition To documents related to renting waqf land in 1943, a request for permission from the Supreme Islamic Sharia Council to rent waqf warehouses in Jaffa in 1934, and correspondence on various waqf topics between the years 1939-1940.
