The card was created by Uri Ben Horin, a Hebrew University man who served as an assistant to Prof. L. A. Meir, an assistant in the Department of Archeology at the Hebrew University and a lecturer on the history of the Land of Israel from the Arab occupation to the Crusader occupation. Ben Hurin specialized in Muslim numismatics, Arabic epigraphy and the historical geography of the Land of Israel during the Arab, Mamluk and Turkish periods.
