Prof. Dr. Ahmed Fehmî Ebu Sunne is a distinguished scientist who devoted his life to Islamic sciences in general and Islamic Jurisprudence and Methodology in particular, educating students and bringing academically qualified people to the society, and devoted himself to Islam and Muslims with an understanding of respecting scientific tradition and solving social problems. Throughout his life, he was an exemplary guide in explaining the texts in Islamic sources and guiding his students by preparing appropriate study materials. Prof. Dr. Ahmed Fehmi Ebu Sunne argued that the duty of ijtihad performed by the mujtahid imams in solving the problems in the social life of humanity in general and Muslims in particular is necessary to be fulfilled today, and that qualified Fiqh scholars are obliged to carry out this duty, and he gave importance to solving social and individual problems by producing solutions from Sharia Nas using the rules of Fiqh Usul. Personally, he did not accept backwardness and advocated for society to have a more abundant life by not accepting corrupt and unjustified customs. In this thesis, Professor Dr. Ahmed Fehmî Abu Sunne tried to be beneficial to society and students through education and training in three-quarters of the twentieth century, and gave importance to education and training at every stage, especially at Al-Azhar University; When necessary, he gave lectures at universities in different countries of the Islamic world and was active in the training of many scientists. While carrying out this lofty duty, he also wrote books in the field of Islamic Fiqh and Usul. He has books "el Örf ve'l ade fi rayil fukaha", "el-Muḥâḍarât fî usûli'l-fıḳhi", "el-Vasîṭ fî usûli'l-fıḳhi'l-Ḥanefiyye", "Nazariyyetü'l-hak" and many articles. We tried to present him, his scientific personality and knowledge to the scholars and the Islamic world through this thesis by introducing these books and articles and giving brief information about their scope. We thank God for this work, which we believe is useful.
Prof. Dr. Ahmad Fahmi Abu Sunnah is a scholar, fundamentalist, father, and mentor of great values who has spent his entire life serving religious sciences in Usul Alfiqh (general and the science of the principles of jurisprudence in particular) in explanation, preparation, simplification, teaching and publication. During his life, he worked on explaining the texts and texts of the main books of fundamentals (Umahat-ulkutub) and directing them in the form of a study material suitable for students. This was his desire to develop the educational curricula for Islamic religious education and to link the thought of the ancients with the thought of the moderns. Accordingly, he studied more than research and analysis of ancient texts and the problems of the modern age until he reached his unique style of classification, with which he produced his valuable works. The most important thing that helped him to understand these strong texts was his love for literature and his attachment to it. This made it easier for him to understand the strong Arabic language in which those texts were written. All these efforts were a supporter of the call for the continuity of Ijtihad, and that the era of ijtihad did not end with the death of the four imams, but it continues with the continuation of Islam. We see the impact of this clear on the scientific level in the way he deals with modern jurisprudential issues and presents their solutions and Fatwas in them, just as he was the first to consider the correct custom (Urf) and custom (Urf) as a kind of analogy and a legal guide from which legal rulings are derived. On the personal level, he was distinguished by a personality that renounced backwardness and clinging to corrupt customs and customs, and the effect of that is evident in his cancellation of the celebrations of his grandfather's birth in his village. In this thesis, I dealt with the life of Professor Dr. Ahmed Fahmy Abu Sunnah since his inception in the late twentieth century, the general conditions in which he grew up, and the extent of the influence of the environment in which he grew up on his guidance and thinking, his education and its various stages, his contemporaneity with the ancient and modern Al-Azhar education systems, his practical life in detail and his teaching. In different universities and the diversity of nationalities of his students from different countries of the Islamic world, until I dealt with the remaining from his books in a brief manner that does not prejudice the general books, and as for the books he wrote on the principles of jurisprudence (Usul Alfiqh) such as the book " Urf wa al-'Adah fi Ra'yi al-Fuqaha", the book " Muhadarat fi asul alfiqh", the book " Alwasit fi asul alfiqh" and the article "'ahkam naql aldam wal'aeda'" I dealt with them in a research, a summary and a comment in an attempt to highlight the impact of the professor on the science of the principles of jurisprudence by analyzing his style in the classification of these books The three, his method in dealing with controversial issues, explaining them and preferring them, his arrangement of the Abwabu Usul Alfiqh research, his approach to diligence, the method of dealing with and Arranging legal evidence in deriving legal rulings and demonstrating them. This thesis has also dealt with the way Prof. Dr. Ahmad Fahmi Abu Sunnah dealt with the issues of contemporary Islamic society, and the method of his fatwas regarding them and his analogy with regard to custom and custom as a kind of analogy in that.
