Notes After the basmalah; Praise be to God and prayers be upon the Messenger of God. This is a booklet in which the nicknames of notable peoples of the races were stripped from Al-Marsa’ by Ibn Al-Atheer, arranged according to the letters of the dictionary, and he was named by the name “Manna” in the nicknames - so he is told: This is Abu So-and-so, and this is Abu So-and-so, meaning the father of the boys who were with them, and he knew them by referring them to their children. So the nicknames appeared in the Arabs, then they became famous and expanded.
