The first of which is: Praise be to God for all His blessings... The first council at the beginning of marriage and the origin of His creation, God Almighty said to the one who said in His decisive and mighty Book: O people, fear your Lord, who created you from a single soul, and created from it its mate, and spread from them many men and women. What is meant by the single soul is Adam - the last of which is: Then blood spewed from him like a gutter, and it dried from his face and beard, and said: This is what God cast, and I am drenched in my blood, and my right has been usurped from me, and those who wronged will know.
