Praise be to You, when after Istikhara I was strengthened in my resolve to perform the Hajj to the House and intend to visit, I was inspired to write a book on the rituals that would be a curriculum for the pilgrim and a law for the rituals by which I would remember when I forget and be guided by it when I was asked for a fatwa. This was limited to the doctrine of the Imam and his companions - so if he enters his city, he starts in the mosque and prays two rak’ahs in it if it is not a time when it is disliked, and he enters his house and advances his right foot and prays two rak’ahs in his house, not at any time.
