Notes	After the basmalah; Muhyi al-Din Yahya al-Nawawi said: Praise be to God, the Possessor of majesty and coercion. As for what follows, Hajj is one of the pillars of the religion. One of the most important matters is explaining its rulings and clarifying its rituals. I have compiled this book to accommodate all its purposes. All blood is slaughtered in the Sacred Sanctuary and food is separated with it as well, except in the case of the Prophet, he has that right where it is limited. As for fasting, it does not have a place for it.
