Praise be to God. This is part of the etiquette of nail clipping and its name. The two sheikhs narrated on the authority of Abu Hurairah that the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: “Five things are part of the nature of nature: circumcision, puberty, trimming the moustache, trimming the nails, and plucking the armpits.” And Ibn Asakir narrated in his book, on the authority of Al-Riyashi, he said I heard Al-Asma’i say, “I entered Harun Al-Rashid on Friday while he was clipping his nails, so I told him about that, and he said: Picking the nails on Thursday is part of the Sunnah, and praise be to God.” Alone
