Praise be to God who revealed from the copy of His perfect self-truths the inscriptions of the worlds and signs. It was at the end of my stay in some of the lands of the Romans that some pages were taken from the pages of interpretations [and it was stated in Q. 374b] the text of which is: This is the combination called the spirit of the statement in the interpretation of the Qur’an - which is that some of the predecessors made the Qur’an into thirds, so the first third ends when He says in Surat Al-Tawbah, “And those who sat” They have denied God and His Messenger, and the second third when He says it in Surat Al-Ankabut, except with what is better, and according to the common people, the first third ends when He Almighty says, “And God has set a seal on their hearts.”
