It was narrated on the authority of Ibn Abbas, may God be pleased with them both, that he said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said while I was sleeping between Safa and Marwah and I was not asleep, and it was a rainy night with thunder and lightning and blackness, and its dogs did not bark nor did its roosters crow when it descended on Al-Amin - And forgive us, and our parents, and my parents, and our sheikhs, and those who taught us, and those in you who love us, and those who have treated us well, and those who have rights over us, and our Muslim brothers, male and female, living and dead, for You are Hearing.
