After the basmalah; Praise be to God, Lord of the Worlds, and blessings be upon His Prophet Muhammad and all his family. After that, Al-Samarqandi said, “Blessing us is better than the one upon whom bestows blessings, which is the blessing of the mind.” That zakat is obligatory on women’s jewelry because it is within the text, and this is the saying of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, regarding zakat on jewelry.
