The jurist Abu Al-Layth said, “Know that prayer is an established obligation and an established law whose obligation is known by the Qur’an, the Sunnah, and the consensus of the nation. If it is said that faith is a plural or a division, it is said that a plural with God is a division between the servants, a plural in the heart, and a division between the members.”
