Praise be to God, the Raiser of the producers. Muhammad al-Sherbini al-Khatib says that the introduction by Sheikh Muhammad bin Abdullah bin Daoud al-Sanhaji, known as al-Ajrumi, since it was one of the best compendiums on the knowledge of Arabic. Some of our companions asked me to put an explanation on it, and I called it Nour al-Sajiyah in solving the terms of al-Ajrumiyya - but the rule of metaphor and truth differs from the apparent and implicit, as Ibn Hisham said in his Mughni.
