Praise be to God who has bestowed knowledge and work on the children of Adam. When I saw many students of knowledge in our time finding knowledge but not achieving it, and of its benefits and fruits - which are working on it and spreading it - they are deprived because they missed His path and abandoned its conditions -... A chapter on what brings sustenance and what it withholds, what increases lifespan and what decreases, and saying this praise every day and night: You are God the Mighty, the Wise, you are God the Holy King, you are God the Most Generous, you are God the Creator of good and evil.
