Notes The first of them is: The Book of Purity. Purity is a name for ablution, washing, or tayammum in its own way... in permitting prayer, and each one of them is divided into obligatory and recommended. The obligatory part of ablution is what is for prayer - the last of which is: If he had four wives and a daughter, and he bequeathed to them the equivalent of the share of one of them, then the obligatory portion would be thirty-two, so the wives would have four eighths among them equally, and he would have a share... and there would be twenty-seven left.
