The Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said: The example of one who remembers his Lord and the one who does not remember his Lord is like the living and the dead. This hadith is from Sihah al-Masabah, narrated by Abu Musa al-Ash’ari - minus the other, and its end: Thus, cycle and sequence are necessary, which is the existence of events that have no beginning, and both of them are impossible even if they are not one.
