After the basmalah; We thank our Lord for the blessings He has bestowed upon us. As for what follows, he indicated to me, from his reference to the rule of the Great Khan and the Grand Commander, Tatar Khan, that I should gather together to compile a book that compiles fatwas and facts, containing rulings and narrations, and I called it Fatwas of the Tatar Khan. And it ends at the seventeenth chapter on the ihram of women and Mamluks. If she is forbidden to perform the voluntary Hajj without her husband’s permission, then the husband may make it permissible according to the words of our scholars.
