After the basmalah; Praise be to God, the Creator of times and seasons. This is a part that I became accustomed to during the winter season, considering that it included what was mentioned in it from the Prophet’s hadith - on the authority of Mujahid, on the authority of Ubaid bin Umair, who said: When winter came, he said, “O people of the Qur’an, the night is long for your recitation, so stand up, and the day is short for your fasting, so fast.”
