| Notes | Roll containing illuminated address to James Robertson (1714-1795), Professor of Hebrew, University of Edinburgh, dated AH1199/AD1784. The writer wishes a face to face meeting with the addressee and thanks him for sending a number of books. The letter conatins some Ayat from Quran and some lines from Sadi Shirazi poems. The writer used Ayat to refer to points that both writer and reciever are aware of. The Ayat means: Only God is aware of secrets and he can inform people about secrets if he wants to.
