Notes	Copied toward the end of Rabīʿ II 824 (f. 142a) \| The book called in Turkish explaining the summary of the body, known as Chagmini, was completed, with God’s help and good success, at the end of the month of Rabi’ al-Akhir in the year eight hundred and twenty-four. May God forgive its writer, its reader, and those who looked into it, for the sake of Muhammad, and God forgive us all.
Sample Text	Praise be to God, Lord of the worlds, Creator of the heavens and the earths, who made us thinkers in their creation, and guided us to thinking to the existence of the most wise of rulers, and blessings be upon the best of the first and the last, Muhammad, the master of the messengers and the imam of the pious, and upon his good family and honorable companions... -... Then if they multiply this external amount by twelve, the number of months of the lunar year, the days of the lunar year are obtained. The conventional term is three hundred and fifty-four days and one-sixth of a day, I mean eight hours and forty-eight minutes of an hour. Therefore, the conventional lunar year is less than the true solar year by approximately ten days, twenty hours and twelve minutes. This is the last of what was possible for me to explain this book, as a matter of urgency due to limited space. I hope that it will benefit the servant of His Highness in His satisfaction, and I ask God to convey it to me. What He desires and desires is that He is Able to do what He wills, and He is worthy of the answer. Praise be to God first and last, and blessings be upon His Prophet Muhammad, inwardly and outwardly, and may peace and blessings be upon him with abundant peace.
