[fol.15b] Praise be to God, Lord of the Worlds, and may God’s blessings be upon Muhammad, his family, and his companions. This is a summary of the science of numbers that includes its niceties, strangeness, secrets, and wonders brought together by the state of proximity to the Sacred House of God... and I called it the number of secrets in the secrets of numbers (etc.) [fol.16a]... I have made this summary to include an introduction and three chapters (etc.) — [fol.29b] ... and it is one thousand and three-quarters. And twenty-three Qur’an, and this is the last summary, with the help of God Almighty and his good success. Praise be to God, Lord of the Worlds, and his prayers be upon our Master Muhammad, the Seal of the Prophets, and upon his family and all his companions, and his peace until the Day of Judgment.
