Recto: legal document, dated Sivan 164 (1564 of the Seleucid Era = 1253 CE). Zayn al-Dār bat Zechariah, widow of Yefet b. Šela Muqaddasī appoints Meʾir b. Yaḵin as her agent to bring her brother-in-law to Alexandria to set her free from ḥaliṣa or to marry her in levirate marriage. Signed by Zechariah the teacher b. Ḥalfon. Verso: note in a different hand (probably that of Meʾir b. Yaḵin), from Meʾir to Joseph the teacher.
