Recto: Only the opening formula are extant. Text opens after the basmala اكرمك الله اعزك. Verso: An official letter. There are large spaces between lines. The writer requests the addressee to take care of somebody. He asks him to protect him and introduce him to his caliph (حفظه التقدمة الى خليفتك).

Small lacunae in the middle. The papyrus piece was cut from a larger sheet. The script on the verso is the remainder of the text from the original sheet.
