Notes
Part of a marriage deed (ketubba), written in Fusṭāṭ in Elul 1552 Sel. (= August 1241 CE). The bridegroom is Yešuʿa ha-Talmid b. Samuel (apparently written שמואול) ha-Levi and the bride is Sitt al-Rašīda bat Yešuʿa ha-Talmid. Probably unfinished (because of the error in the name?), because the scribe stopped midway through a line and didn't complete it. There is a word written in large Hebrew script, upside-down in relation to the main text, at the bottom of the leaf. Verso contains some notes in Judaeo-Arabic and Arabic, just writing practice, including יעלם סידנא.
