Notes
Leaf from a work on ophthalmology, focussing on swellings and atrophy of the eye, possibly caused by errors of the oculist. Eye drops and powders are recommended as possible treatments, together with cautery. Mention is made of Andarani salt, crocus, anemone extracts and kohl of antimony as useful simples.
