Legal documents in the hand of Hillel b. ʿEli. F. 2r: legal document regulating financial claims by Ḵalīfa b. Yefet concerning a debit note from the sons of Moses ha-Goyyim to Ṭahor b. Ḥasan. Signed by Isaac b. Samuel, Abraham b. Šemaʿya he-Ḥaver (descendant of Šemaʿya Gaʾon) and Hillel b. ʿEli. Dated Av 1410 of the Seleucid Era (= 1099 CE). F. 2v: document of appointment for the position of beadle of the Babylonian synagogue for ʿEli b. Isaac, (known as Ḡazāl ha-Kohen). Dated 1410 of the Seleucid Era (= 1099 CE), and signed by Isaac b. Samuel, Abraham b. Šemaʿya he-Ḥaver (descendant of Šemaʿya Gaʾon), Maṣliaḥ b. Moses, Hillel b. ʿEli, Ibrahim b. Ṭabīb (?) ha-Levi and ʿEli ha-Kohen b. Yaḥyā. F. 1r: legal document concerning financial claims between Abū l-Mufaḍḍal Nathaniel b. Yefet and Ṭoviyya ha-Levi b. Abraham. F. 1v: legal document concerning financial claims between Abū l-Ḥusayn al-Ḥalabī and Abū l-Ḥasan b. Ṭībān. Signed by Isaac b. Samuel and Abraham b. Šemaʿya he-Ḥaver (descendant of Šemaʿya Gaʾon). Dated Av 1410 of the Seleucid Era (= 1099 CE).
