Praise be to God, who reached those who were cut off from Him with His upright religion, and raised up those who entrusted His command to Him by following the Sunnah of His Noble Prophet... And after that, the Millennium of the Science of Hadith is called Insight and Remembrance... and I called it Fath Al-Baqi by Sharh Al-Faliyat Al-Iraqi... - said its author, and the completion of its writing was... in the year eight hundred and ninety-six, and the completion of its writing was... in the year one hundred and forty-six of the Prophet’s Hijra, at the hands of the poor Ahmad Al-Fazi.
