Praise be to God, praise that is sufficient for His blessings and equivalent to His increase, and may blessings and peace be upon Muhammad, his family, his companions, and his soldiers. This is what is intensified by those who wish to complete the interpretation of the Great Qur’an, which was written by the Sheikh, Imam, the eminent scholar, the investigator, Jalal al-Din Muhammad bin Ahmad al-Mahli al-Shafi’i.... - (The Misguided) are the Christians, and the joke of the substitution indicates that the guided are neither Jews nor Christians, and God Almighty knows best. Correctly, and to Him is the reference and the return. This blessed and honorable book was completed, with the praise, help, and good success of God, on the blessed Friday, the first of the month of Rajab, one of the months of the year one hundred and sixty after the Prophet’s Hijra. The best prayers and peace be upon its author.... Praise be to God, Lord of the Worlds, Amen.
