And I was, from the dawn of the matter and the prime of my life, immersed in that sea and its origins... and it became a source of inspiration for me to write a text full of benefits... and I was determined to name it. After completion, Durar Al-Ahkam explains Gharar Al-Ahkam. He is near and answered, to Him I trust and to Him I turn... - And so you see that the later scholars, despite their perfection in the mechanical arts and their compilation of respectable books in them, did not hover around this science and did not compile in it even a brief message. And this poor servant to the Rich God, despite his debate with them in their classifications regarding what they ascribed to him and his opposition to them in their writings regarding what they relied on, so that the scholars of the era and the virtuous people of time accepted it. He distinguished himself from them by writing this beautiful text loaded with benefits, and the honorable explanation full of unique things. Praise be to God who guided us to this, and we would not have been guided had God not guided us... and praise be to God for success.
