Basmalah, praise be to God, and may blessings and peace be upon our master Muhammad and upon his family and companions, said our Sheikh, the Sheikh of Islam, the preserver of the era and the ruler of humanity, Abu al-Fadl Shihab al-Din Ahmad ibn Ali ibn Hajar al-Asqalani al-Shafi’i, may God Almighty have mercy on him. As for what follows: Praise be to God, and may blessings and peace be upon the Messenger of God, and there is no power nor strength except in God. These are forty hadiths that I selected from Sahih Muslim ibn al-Hajjaj, and they are from the Mighty One who exalted Muslim al-Bukhari as a man in every way. A chain of transmission from it... — The void occurred on Tuesday the twenty-fifth of Dhul-Qi’dah al-Haram, in the year two hundred and forty-five of the blessed Hijra, at the hands of the helpless, guilty, destitute servant, Ahmad Arif, who is acquainted with the wisdom of God... from the beginning of the world to the end, Amen, Amen.
