Basmalah... Praise be to God who crowned the scholars with the crown of religion, and made them the heirs of Muhammad, may God bless him and grant him peace, forever and ever... And after, he says... Abu al-Fadl Muhammad Taj al-Din bin Abd al-Muhsin, known as al-Qal’i:… When I began reading the books of the Sunnah, which are the collections of Islam, and the people’s reference for all Sunni demands and rulings… I stripped them of the names of narrators and the sayings of the Companions and scholars, and restricted myself to the hadiths of the Master of the Messengers… — about Abu Hurairah, on the authority of the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said: May people be proud of their fathers who have died, but they are the coal of hell, or they will be easier for God than the scarab... And on his authority, the Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said: God has removed from you the burden of ignorance... Narrated by Abu Dawud, and God Almighty knows best...
