Praise be to God who has guided us, that is, He has guided us. It has been said that its meaning is the creation of guidance, which is the evidence that leads to what is sought. This is what the author of Al-Kashshaf mentioned, and Imam Al-Razi mentioned in Al-Tafsir Al-Kabir. Guidance is the evidence of what leads to what is sought... It is used in both meanings, as in the Almighty’s saying {You do not guide whom you love} and His saying {And as for Thamud, We guided them}... — because the ruling of the Sharia, which is the permissibility and prohibition, relates to the thing in the sense that it is owned by some, not in the sense The essence, since if that does not change, is like pork, and what is meant by... the sum of the essence and the Mamluk test, then some is replaced by changing the whole. This is what the early Sharia said, and someone might say that it is not permissible for the thing characterized by permissibility and prohibition to be that thing with a restriction...
