Bismillah Praise be to God, who made his remembrance a strong fortress from every door, and his supplication is a sure guard for reward, and prayers and peace be upon the one who mentioned him as a source of hope... As for what follows, he says... Ali bin Sultan Muhammad Al-Harawi... and I called it the precious guard of the fortified fortress, as he explained the control of its buildings, determined the connection of its meanings, untied its symbols, and opened its treasures, so I say, and by God, success in seeking help in the investigation... — ...and may God have mercy on a servant who said, “Amen,” I concluded. The numbering of this explanation, called the explanation of Ali al-Qari, was completed on Friday of the month of Rabi` al-Akhir in the year one hundred and thirty-seven, and its number is the shortest of the times... and to all believers, Amen.
