Muhammad Abid Sindi’s footnote to Tafsir al-Baydawi from verse 51 of Surat al-Ma’idah to the end of Surat al-A’raf, in black ink and the verses in red. The font is a little difficult to read. It is a draft by Sheikh Muhammad Abid Sindi and in his own handwriting. It is stated in the footnote to the first paper: “This is from a commentary on Tafsir al-Baydawi by its writer Muhammad Abid bin Ahmad Ali al-Ansari al-Khazraji al-Sindi. He began editing it on Friday the 17th of Dhul-Qa’dah in the year 1253 AH, in the honorable city, may God help him to complete it from the beginning and the end, and make him benefit from it, private and public, in every forum and place, for the sake of the best of humanity, may God Almighty bless him and his family and companions and grant them peace.”

O you who have believed, do not take the Jews and Christians as allies. Do not rely on them and do not associate with them as friends. Abu Mansur al-Maturidi said: It is possible that you will not abandon them. - This is the last thing we edited on Surat Al-A'raf, and we ask God Almighty to grant us success in completing it from the first to the last... This was on the first day of Dhul-Hijjah in the year 1254 AH, in the honorable city of the Prophet, upon its supervisor the best prayers and greetings and the most complete greetings.
