Basmala... Oh my people, why do I call you to salvation and you call me to Hell? I have written several books about the salvation of my father, the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, and I have explained in them the paths of the people regarding that, and what they have of articles, arguments, and reasoning, despite my knowledge of the hadiths reported to the contrary, and the saying of many scholars according to them... - For these hadiths do not contain any of the hadiths regarding rulings on what is permissible and what is forbidden, so leniency in referring to them is permissible. He said, and it has been proven from Imam Ahmad and others who said: The imams said that if we narrate what is permissible and what is forbidden, we will be strict, and if we narrate about virtues and the like, we will be lenient.
