As for what follows... it includes the history of Jerusalem... and the story of the honorable master, our master Ibrahim Al-Khalil, and his honorable master sons and other prophets and messengers... — ... and the completion of writing this blessed copy was on the night of Thursday, the tenth of God’s month, Muharram, in the months of the year one thousand one hundred and sixty-three... It was completed with the praise of God, His help, and His good success.
